Theatrical release for “A Deal With The Universe”

Trans filmmaker Jason Barker’s groundbreaking documentary A Deal With The Universe will recieve a theatrical release across the UK in February 2019, as part of LGBT History Month.

The feature film chronicle’s Jason’s own attempts to start a family with his partner Tracey, offering an intimate insight into the everyday humour and tragedy of the couple’s daily life. In doing so, the documentary goes beyond traditional narratives of trans fertility and pregnancy, offering a deeper commentary on matters of love, partnership and the desire to have children.

The Trans Pregnancy Project previously featured in a Guardian article on A Deal With The Universe, and we are hoping to work with Jason Barker on a creative project in the near future. Watch this space!
